How We Review Wallets and Crypto Casinos
This page explains how Crypto Endeavours chooses and checks the products in its guides, how rankings are decided, how the site makes money, and where to get help if gambling stops being fun. It applies to every article on the site.

Who writes our guides
Guides are written and edited by the Crypto Endeavours editorial team. Each article carries a byline, a published date and, where prices or offers matter, the date those facts were last checked.
How we review crypto wallets
For hardware wallets and wallet apps we look at the things that decide whether your coins stay safe, then at cost and convenience:
- Security model: where private keys are generated and stored, whether a secure element or air-gapped signing is used, and what an attacker would need to steal funds.
- Open source and audits: whether firmware and apps can be inspected, and whether independent security reviews have been published.
- Backup and recovery: seed phrase handling, passphrase support, Shamir backup and multisig options.
- Security track record: published vulnerabilities, customer data leaks and how the vendor responded.
- Coin and app support: which networks and wallet apps work with the device.
- Price: the official US store price on the date shown in the guide.
- Setup and daily use: how hard the device or app is to set up and use without mistakes.
Our sources are vendor documentation, official store pages and release notes, security disclosures and researcher write-ups, and reputable reporting on incidents. We link the source for factual claims so you can check them yourself. We do not present facts taken from documentation as results of our own hands-on testing.
How we review crypto casinos
For crypto casinos we check the facts that matter before anyone deposits:
- Licence: the licence number and licence holder, checked against the regulator's public register where one exists.
- Restricted countries: taken from the operator's own terms, not its marketing pages.
- Bonus terms: welcome offers, wagering requirements, maximum bets, expiry dates and game restrictions.
- Payments: supported coins, stated withdrawal times and limits, and fees.
- Identity checks: when the operator asks for KYC documents.
- Player protection: deposit limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion tools.
- Game choice: game types and the providers behind them.
These facts come from each operator's terms and public licence registers, and each casino guide says when they were checked. We do not claim to have played at every casino we list. Promo codes come from our affiliate partners, and we only describe what a code unlocks once its terms are confirmed.
How rankings are decided
A product's place in a list reflects our assessment against the criteria above, weighted toward security for wallets and toward licensing, fair terms and player protection for casinos. We do not sell placements in our rankings, and no company can pay to be included or to move up. If a product has a serious unresolved security issue, we say so plainly, even when that means leaving a popular name off a list.
Keeping guides up to date
Prices, bonus offers, licences and restricted-country lists change often. We aim to re-check casino offers and licences about once a month, and we update wallet guides when a vendor changes a product or price or a security incident is reported. The date in each guide shows when its facts were last checked.
If you spot a mistake, tell us in the comments under the article (sign-up is free). We fix confirmed errors promptly and note significant corrections on the page.
Affiliate disclosure
Crypto Endeavours is free to read and carries no display advertising. Some pages contain affiliate links: if you sign up or buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. At the time of writing this applies to the casinos in our crypto casino ranking; our wallet guides contain no affiliate links.
Pages with affiliate links show a disclosure near the top, and the links themselves are marked as sponsored. A commission never decides whether a product is listed or where it ranks.
Responsible gambling
Our casino content is for adults only: 18+, or 21+ where local law requires. Online gambling is legal only in some countries and states, and the casinos we cover may not be licensed where you live. Check your local law and each casino's restricted list before you sign up, and never use a VPN to get around a restriction.
Casino games have a built-in house edge, so gambling is entertainment, not a way to make money. Set deposit and time limits before you start, only gamble with money you can afford to lose, and never chase losses. Crypto deposits are fast and hard to reverse, which makes limits more important, not less.
If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential help is available:
- United States: call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline on 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537), run by the National Council on Problem Gambling.
- United Kingdom: call the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, run by GamCare, or visit BeGambleAware.
- Anywhere: Gamblers Anonymous runs meetings worldwide, and Gambling Therapy offers free online support in several languages.
Self-exclusion schemes such as GamStop in the UK only cover locally licensed operators, so they do not block offshore crypto casinos. If you need a break, also ask each casino's support team to self-exclude you, and consider blocking software on your devices.
Not financial advice
Nothing on Crypto Endeavours is financial, investment, legal or tax advice. Crypto prices are volatile, self-custody makes you responsible for your own keys, and you can lose money gambling. Do your own research and only risk what you can afford to lose. See our terms of use and privacy policy for more.
